Work on gcl to bring it into compliance is suspended, that is. The test suite itself is continuing to evolve. Be warned that the tests for section 19 (pathnames) have some problems. That is, an implementation that passes them can be conforming, but it may be the case that conforming implementations need not pass all of them. Section 19 has serious shortcomings as a testable specification. Paul
