Another feature request .... When i copy (F5) a file from left to right pane,
the copy dialog highlights the whole path. Well, much often i'd like to modify
the filename a little bit, eg, appedning '.bak' or '.mp3'...;) In this case, i
have to do something like carefully deselect the highlighted path and re-select
the filename only, delete, and type again.
Some other file managers have different behaviour here, and thus i often forget
to walk through this procedure, just type ahead, deleting the highlighted path,
and end up with a question like 'A folder 'foobarbaz' does not exist, wanna
create?' in which case i have to repeat the whole thing.
I think modifying the basename is more often requested, than modifying the
path.It would shorten the procedure much if only the filename (basename) would
be highlighted as default.
my 5 ct....
