[gcmd-usr] Compiling current 1.2.3 and next 1.2.4

Hi, 

I was trying to do some checks on my French translation. For the up coming 
release.

I get an error while trying to compile, So I picked up 1.2.3 and tried to 
compile it too without luck.
I do not get any issue at configure.
Any pointers ?
I am using Mandriva 2007.1 (Spring x64)
also tried on 32 bit 2007. 1 (Spring) with different problem

I get the this issue with both version in 64 bit:
