[gforth] Suitable terminal for Windows

Under Windows, Gforth's default terminal window has text a bit too small and 
too dim for my aging eyes. Under a MINGW terminal it runs, but history doesn't 
work; up-arrow moves the cursor. Does anyone have any sort of solution for 
Gforth to run under Windows with a terminal window of adjustable font and 
colors, please? Or even fixed 14pt font in high contrast would do.
