Weird, I've nuked my entire build tree on both Fedora and Ubuntu, and it rebuilt fine. All I did was add prototypes in sharedlib and extension, (which shouldn't effect anything but win32 builds), and add the libltdl library as a dependency for building the executables. I have a Mandriva VM image, I'll try there.
Backing our any changes to utilities and gui Makefiles should get you going again while I try to figure this out.
