I've been using SourceForge's Compile Farm to test configuring and building Gnash on non 32 bit, x86 architectures. At the CF, they have powerpc, alpha, and AMD64 machines all running GNU/Linux, as well as NetBSD, OpenBSD, and OpenSolaris.

You can get all the details here: http://sourceforge.net/docs/compile_farm. It's pretty simple to get access if you already have a SourceForge account. You do have to add your SSH key separately for Compile Farm access, but once the cron job kicks in, you'll be able to ssh in by going to cf.sourceforge.net.

Although it supports CVS, I've been using rsync right out of my source tree. To rsync or scp, you go to the shell.sourceforge.net machine.

While I don't think most folks will need to use the CF, certain classes of changes, like eliminating compilation warnings, etc.. should ideally be tested before being checked in to reduce bug reports and "what the hey..." emails...
