Applied your patch, have another problem with make distcheck though:

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kde_glue_cairo.cpp', needed by `distdir'.  
Stop.

Indeed there's no kde_glue_cairo.cpp file under gui/
Does anyone have it or is it an error in gui/Makefile.am ?
