It's normal behaviour for mailing lists. I just didn't know that the
cvs commit automatically sends an e-mail. Now that I changed my
Gnash-commit subscription it seems to work.

I suggest leaving that feature on, since it will effectively block
SPAM (not at 100%, but it's not bad).
