Since lists.gnu.org has been down a few days, I figured this out
already. It turns out you can specify a colon separated list of
directories to libltdl, so as the code now stands in cvs HEAD, you can
set GNASH_PLUGINS to find extension in the build tree, as well as the
installed location.
