  First off, if you really want to use Gnash this way, you're probably
better off tracking CVS. More things work better every day. -x should be
supported in any version of Gnash, but not for the windows port is my
guess. Currently there are no win32 developers on the Gnash team, so
this platforms lags behind in support. We could use somebody that is
willing to help maintain this platform.

  Another release ? Probably not for several months, the last one was
not that long ago, and there are several important features being added
right now that will likely take a month or two to finish and stabilize.
(like video support)
