What's interesting is the output when building ASBroadcaster.o, you might wish to change march= to whatever fits your CPU, I've never seen any R4600 LE32 but LE32 mips32. Tune the -Wl-stuff passwed to the linker is the next step.

Upgrading binutils over several versions didn't help. I succeeded building with gcc 4.2.2 but the resulting plugin crashed Firefox on my distribution that I've entirely built using gcc 4.1.2. So I'm thinking of a compiler bug here. I'll try to build current CVS with both compilers.
