Gee. So much for time estimation in open source projects. :)
Anyway, just wanted to give you guys a heads-up that the current
version of the ActionScript 3.0 compiler (as3compile), (which is
part of the development snapshot at http://www.swftools.org/download.html)
is approaching a stable state, and will be included
in the next official release.
It's a raw compiler (no embedding stuff yet- I plan to
integrate support for fonts and bitmaps though), and it now can compile
most of all the ActionScript programs I came across so far, except
any that use inline XML or namespaces. (I'm working on the latter
right now)
Try it out and let me know what you think!
