  I'd consider that more of a bug fix than a new feature... We could
just fix the old double buffering code to work, ignoring OpenVG. Course
then it'd to get refactored to better support hardware acceleration.
That would be the fast fix. I'd prefer to do it right the first time,
and make sure that double buffering would support hardware double
buffering, as well as our own software buffering. I guess I'd accept a
patch for the old code to work with AGG only still, as I don't have time
currently to work on refactoring double buffering.
