Hi,
I just followed all these steps in my yeeloong with an updated gnewsense
mips-l but the problem is always there.

For example.
The default command issued when a person with gnewsense mips-l click on
system -> administration -> synaptic
is

su-to-root -c -X /usr/sbin/synaptic

The one you suggested me to try is:

gksu /usr/sbin/synaptic

I followed the steps above, rebooted and tried to launch both the
previous commands, clicking on the menu and writing the commands in the
shell.

The result is the same.
A window appears asking me for my password, I enter it, the window
disappear and then nothing.
Even the shell don't show me any errors, just returns to the prompt.
