It has a direct benefit to us too: we know that bug wasn't caused by us.

Those dds are probably a very very small number. There are lots of
debian derivatives, and maintaining an environment for each
distribution and then testing with it is a fairly manual process.

Not sure I understand the logic there. Just because gNS tries to be
freer, DDs will be more likely to work on it?

Its been suggested to me we try and get ourselves added below ubuntu on
the debian pts [1]. If someone is interested in doing the python to make
that happen, let me know ...
