I agree the post was a bit snarky, but he appears to be right,
factually. We need to take valid information from wherever we can get
it. I think Ships of Theseus are still generally derivative works,
unless a conscious effort has been made to Chinese-wall from the last
"tainted" version.
So my recommendation is to remove afio for the time being. It does not
appear to be a particularly critical package (anymore).
