Our apologies — instant watching is not supported for your operating system.
Note that your current Internet browser is fully compatible with adding
titles to the Instant Queue for later watching on compatible devices.
Complete System Requirements
To watch instantly, you'll need a computer that meets the following minimum
requirements:
* Windows
o Windows XP with Service Pack 2, or Vista
o Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher; or Firefox 2 or higher
o 1.2 GHz processor
o 512 MB RAM
* Mac
o An Intel-based Mac with OS 10.4.8 or later
o Safari 3 or higher; or Firefox 2 or higher
o 1 GB RAM
Me, again. Do I need to buy Windows XP in order to use one of the several
ways to watch Netflix on my sNewSense computer? I read about a Mac emulator
being able to get around the MS obstacle, but I don't know what an emulator
is, and if I'd still have to buy the Mac OS. This computer was given to me,
and it had Windows XP on it. I've formatted the hd to get the microtrash off
it, but now that it's gone, I could use it for Netflix instant play. But I
don't have the CD. Anybody got a solution? I'm a technodope.
You could try a free browser add-on called "User Agent Switcher" to
spoof Microsoft Windows/IE on the GNU IceCat (the completely free
software version of Mozilla Firefox.)
