[gNewSense-users] yeeloong metad - xfce sound problems

I've got xfce4 loaded OK, and I installed xfce-mixer and gstreamer.  I have a 
Mixer Settings under Settings but no volume controls. The device shows as 
CS5535.

I don't get any sound.  When gnome was installed previously I had sound so I 
think its an xcfe setup issue.

Any ideas?  Thanks.
