I have installed xfce goodies, and configured the Thunar file manager to auto mount USB storage, but nothing happens. When I insert the drive, dmesg looks OK to me: [ 102.276000] usb 2-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4 [ 102.408000] usb 2-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [ 102.416000] scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices [ 102.416000] usb-storage: device found at 4 [ 102.416000] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning [ 107.416000] scsi 1:0:0:0: Direct-Access Lexar JumpDrive 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 1 CCS [ 107.424000] usb-storage: device scan complete [ 107.428000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] 503808 512-byte logical blocks: (257 MB/246 MiB) [ 107.428000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off [ 107.428000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 23 00 00 00 [ 107.428000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 107.432000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 107.432000] sdb: sdb1 [ 107.440000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 107.440000] sd 1:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk Do I need to configure fstab? Any other ideas? Thanks. --pete |
