Hello! I'd like to record my own music in Gnewsens, but I'm a newbie at that. Could you recommend me some programs?

personally i suggest ardour [4] (more complex and featured) and/or audacity [5] (simply but complete enough) both have a lot of useful plugins (see the refs below) - note that each plugin should be checked before to be installed/used in order to verify if it has been released under a free software license [6]
