You're right, but if it _is_ exposed as a USB storage device (I have no idea
if it is), you should just be able to compile USB Storage support:
CONFIG_SCSI (required for USB storage), CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD,
CONFIG_USB_STORAGE (and probably everything under it).
