security code problems in N6210

hi list,

im having problems with the security codes in nokia
mobile phones.

i built gnokii 0.5.2 from the source in a slackware9.0
(gcc3.sumthin), did some changes in the rc file, plugged the
cable and tested the phone. 

at first, everything seemed fine, with all the SIM stuffs,
contacts, calendars, and some phone configs (IMEI, software
version, etc) were detected - except for the security code,
which is the main purpose why i installed gnokii (i forgot
my security code).

i extracted the security code by issuing
gnokii--getsecuritycode and it returned the security code.
when i try to enter it in my mobile phone,the phone returns
a"security code error." 

any thoughts?
