What kind of phone do you have? Modern phones contain built-in modems,
just use that. If you're a nokia 5110 or nokia 6110 owner, you have
to use gnokiid. It's a modem emulator for these phones. If you are
running gnokiid, you can use /dev/gnokii as a modem device.
