speed of connection to Nokia 6310i

Hi,

I set up gnooki to run with my Nokia 6310i phone. Everything is working
well put the speed is poor. Especially when I try to write an SMS
xgnooki downloads the whole addressbook from the phone. This takes about
a minute or so.

If I use the original Nokia PC-Suite under windows then this process is
much more quicker (about 2 seconds for downloading the adress data).

Is there a way to speed up the connection between gnooki (xgnooki) and
the phone?
Which switches do I have to turn?
