Hi,

I am running Fedora core 6 (FC6) kernel-2.6.18-1.2868 and I have built the
kernel module for DKU-2 from gnokii CVS on 21-12-2006.

Firstly whenever I plug the 6230i in the device in /dev - usually /dev/ttyUSB0
hasnt the correct permissions, and I have to do a chmod 777 as root.

What am I missing here so a user can run gnokii and the correct permissions are
set automatically?

Secondly if I set the config as

port = /dev/ttyUSB0
model = 6510
connection = dku2

then for example gnokii --identify runs like treacle and eventually returns

IMEI         : Unknown
Manufacturer : Nokia
Model        : Unknown
Product name : Unknown
Revision     : Unknown

Errrr this doesnt agree with the docmuentation. So I guess there is something
else I havent configured?

Starting xgnokii its so slow that it is pretty unusable and also for instance if
I ask to read the contacts list from the phone I get the following.....

xgnokii_lowlevel.c: line 479: Can't get memory entry number 1 from memory 1! 11

xgnokii_lowlevel.c: line 479: Can't get memory entry number 1 from memory 1! 11
Event 2 failed with return code 11!

and it doesnt produce anything

Using the AT driver and /dev/ttyACM0 I can get contacts and send SMS but activating SMS reading crashes it with

Mobile Terminated message:

I havent sent of this memory map as there was a lot of it!

Any ideas where I am going wrong with building/configuring?
