writephonebook ME errors dependent on SIM

Hello :-)

This is primarily to share information because the symptoms were so
unexpected.  --writephonebook --overwrite --memory-type ME produces
errors with one SIM but works with others.

The errors are like

Write failed (The current frame isn't handled by the incoming
function.): memory type: ME, loc: 4, name: <name>, number: <number>

The SIM that triggers the errors is from tmn (Portugal Telecom's mobile
phone system).  The problem can be worked around by putting a UK
Vodafone SIM in (an Indian Vodafone SIM is also known to work).

gnokii is 0.6.31.  The phone is a nokia 5130c-2 (RM-495) with firmware 7.97.
