Sorry if it was not clear, but that Chinese molecule test snippet is from Amazon's amicus curiae brief. RMS merely urged to not buy anything from Amazon (in addition to RMS' boycotts of Caterpillar, Exxon-Mobil, Coca Cola Company, Chinese products, and Harry Potter books).
http://www.patentlyo.com/patent/MSFT.Vandenberg.pdf
("Amicus curiae Amazon.com, Inc., is an e-commerce technology leader whose engineers develop innovative designs for the operation of Web stores, and specify those designs using digital software codes. From the United States, Amazon.com transmits some of its engineersďż˝ designs, in the form of digital software codes, for use by foreign Web store computers.")
Amazon simply want to limit the liability for all those allegedly
infringed IBM's patents. ;-)

alexander.

"Please do not buy from Amazon"

           -- Richard Stallman
Sorry for my misunderstanding -- In contrition I'm sending the Free
Software Foundation a check for ten thousand GNU dollars. As the FSF
spends and circlulates those GPL'd dollars the World's real property
will slowly accumulate under the GPL pool and a perfect socialist state
will arise.
True Heaven on Earth will then perfect. The Sunni will lay down with the
Shia. Wallace will lay down with Eben and beget many little RMS's and we
shall all be joyous unto eternity.
