Hi Free Culture @ NYU,
Here's a great event (brought to my attention by Solon) hosted by the
Information Law Institute also happening tomorrow before our screening.
RSVP to Nicole Arzt : arztn@juris.law.nyu.edu if you'd like to attend.
See you tomorrow!

Guests,
The third presentation of the spring 2008 Colloquium on Innovation
Policy will take place on Thursday, January 31 from 4:00-6:00pm at NYU
School of Law, 40 Washington Square South, Vanderbilt Hall, Room 208.
Professor Beth Noveck, New York Law School, will talk about Open Review
and the Future of Patent Quality. Attached are two papers, "Peer to
Patent": Collective Intelligence, Open Review, and Patent Reform, and
Wiki-Government. The first is a law review piece about the impact of
information deficit on the quality of issued patents. Wiki Government is
a short policy piece about the benefits of open government, drawing on
Peer to Patent as a model.
Please RSVP if you wish to attend the lecture and/or (subject to
availability) dinner afterwards with a small group including the
speaker.
The lecture is worth 2 NY CLE credits in the area of Professional
Practice.
Thank you,
Nicole Arzt
