[open-cobol-list] Compile error: gmp.h is required

I have built the gmp and libtool libraries, then made two directories: include and libs. I copied all the header files into include and the library files into libs.

 

I run the open-cobol ./configure command and specify arguments --prefix=$HOME --libdir=/path/to/new/lib/dir --includedir=/path/to/to/new/include/dir

 

However I am still getting: error: gmp.h is required.

 

Please help.
