Another COBOL, no longer maintained actively, called Tiny COBOL, had an
interface with web pages. I can also use the Expect version of Tcl/Tk
to communicate from a Gui to a called COBOL program. The difference
is, with Tiny the COBOL program calls the graphic window and with
Expect the Tcl/Tk program calls the COBOL.
Commercial COBOL packages have their own graphic extensions. And I can
also carve a decent data entry page with positioned DISPLAY and ACCEPT
statements. The virtue of that approach
