It's also in Arch Linux - in the AUR (Arch User Repository). I've tried installing it from there and it worked fine.

Yes, it's contained in Debian 7.0 (wheezy), which also runs on a
Raspberry Pi (http://www.raspberrypi.org/) and Gnublin
(http://gnublin.embedded-projects.net/).
