Laurence,
I'm afraid I've been inactive in the project for the last few years and have
only recently found time to start working on it again. I'm going to forward
this message to our developers list so that others can comment.
The best source of information for the current state of GNUe would be the
website at www.gnuenterprise.org and our IRC channel at
irc.freenode.net port 6667 channel #gnuenterprise.
Someone is usually around that can help.
Take Care,
James
