Hi,

I'm back :)  There are still problems, but now mainly with OS,
since I lost all upgrades I made on the previous installation.
Anyway, I have Emacs working, so it seems I can live with that
;)  I hope to dig up a recent snapshot of Debian "sarge" soon
and finally replace my old Red Hat 8.0.

Thanks mostly to KMail, I managed to lose all mail between
approximately August 31 and September 7.  I briefly scanned
message topics and read some of the mail during that time, but
most of it is gone unread.  If I don't reply to a message I
should, try resending it.
