Hello
Some months (a year ?) ago i tried to write a Cairo backend for windows.
You can get the files there :
http://amstradstuff.free.fr/GNUstep/back-win32cairo.zip
Put then in Source/cairo directory
Achtung : two files will be overwritten !!
I'm not sure they still can be build as cairo backend has been changed
but they may be a first step.
You will need FreeType and fontconfig.
