That is a toolchain bug on mips(el), and we don't know how to work
around it in GnuTLS.
I'm not sure I see why we should work around it either, the bug affects
so many debian packages now (coreutils, m4, unistring, libidn, ...) so
the proper fix is to fix the bug in binutils.
For some debian packages, I have just disabled running self-checks on
mips, since the bug is only triggered for self-tests, and nobody have
suggested a better fix.
I don't think there is anything wrong with the generated libraries.
