Hi. I suggest the following extensions for IceCat:
- Privacy Redirect: Automatically redirects Twitter, YouTube, Instagram,
Google Maps, Reddit (and a few other unethical services) requests to
privacy friendly alternatives such as Nitter, Invidious, Bibliogram,
OpenStreetMap. It comes with lists of instances for each service and
selects a random instance each time.
Allows for setting custom instances, toggling all redirects on/off and
more.

- Decentraleyes (recommended by Mozilla): Protects the user against
tracking through "free", centralized, content delivery. It prevents a
lot of requests from reaching networks like Google Hosted Libraries,
and serves local files to keep sites from breaking. Complements
regular content blockers.

- Privacy Badger (FSF high priority project; recommended by Mozilla):
Automatically learns to block invisible trackers.

- uBlock Origin (FSF high priority project, recommended by Mozilla):
wide-spectrum blocker for browsers with a simple point-and-click
interface to allow users to filter and block server requests, domains,
scripts, and more. By default it blocks ads, trackers and malware
sites.

- Edit with Emacs: Allow user to edit web-page textareas with Emacs
(and other editors).
