[Gpaint-develop] I am porting gpaint to GNOME 2.0

Michael, just to let you know that I am working on
porting the existing source of gpaint to GNOME 2.0,
which is released today.  I figure we should support
it.  Currently GNOME 2 development tools do not handle
glade 1 files yet, so we cannot move totally to the
GNOME 2.0 platform.  I think in the short term new
developments still need to be done on GNOME 1.   

I think the GNOME 2 port of gpaint will be released
under the name gpaint2, becaus it is very difficult to
have one tar ball containing source that compiles on
both GNOME 1 and GNOME 2.
