You are correct. I am in long island. Here's the output from a wrapper program which has a little more information. This output does not reflect the lat/lon information. The same program when ran with the older receiver (accutime gold) does reflect the lat/lon information.

and the timestamp is 6 minutes before you sent the mail, so that checks.


But the new NMEA is only doing GPRMC.  The old one is also sending
GPGGA, which has more info (ellipsoid height).  I'd be really surprised
if gpsd didn't read GPRMC.  But it's odd that the new one sends fewer
sentences.  Is there any way to configure it?  You probably do want to
get the list of sats and az/el/signal.
