I get the same here. gpspipe -r or -R shows GPGSV and GLGSV
but not GAGSV.
But with cat /dev/ttyACM0, the GAGSV are present, which is why
I always cat the port rather than use a gpsd client if I want
to be sure what the GPS is sending.
gpsd 3.15 (revision 3.15-2build1) on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS.
