Ah, that looks like it.

And my patched file seems to tork

   # ./a.out -g .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.31
   .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.31
   gauge
   23
   # ./a.out -g .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.32
   .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.32
   gauge
   19
   # ./a.out -g .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.33
   .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.33
   gauge
   28.000000

Looks useful, it says

Dave, would you contribute that to gpsd? Others may find it useful.

===================================

Gary,

Many thanks for that. It wasn't clear (to me as a C novice) how to make the changes, but I do see now that the array has been made into an array of structures, so all is now compiling OK.

Yes, you are most welcome to use the code as a gpsd example.

Thanks, again!
David
