I'm not well in AIS, but I view that gpsd strange in AIS data presentation.
So, in 'scaled' mode:

The draught from 24'th sentence represented in meters instead of 
decimeters in AIS. This is such in TPV and it is expected.
But the draught from 8'th sentence represented in sentimeters, such it 
in AIS. This is unexpected.

Speed, length and beam left in AIS units but coordinates and course 
brought to the normal form.

Values  meaning "no value" in AIS are everywhere, instead null value.


I understand that it can't be changed now, but can it be documented?
