Thank you!
I've just made the next pre-release snapshot.
grep-2.26.39-ae3f passes all (expected) tests for me on:
- Debian stretch/sid (Linux kernel 4.6.0, gcc 6.2.0, glibc 2.24)
- Void Linux (kernel 4.8.11, gcc 6.2.1, glibc 2.24)
On Mac OS X 10.9.5 (Darwin 13.4.0, gcc 4.8.1), however, it doesn't
build, failing with:
CCLD grep
Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
"_iconv", referenced from:
_mem_cd_iconv in libgreputils.a(striconv.o)
_str_cd_iconv in libgreputils.a(striconv.o)
(maybe you meant: _str_iconv, _xstr_cd_iconv , _xstr_iconv ,
_xmem_cd_iconv , _str_cd_iconv , _mem_cd_iconv )
"_iconv_close", referenced from:
_str_iconv in libgreputils.a(striconv.o)
"_iconv_open", referenced from:
_str_iconv in libgreputils.a(striconv.o)
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
(I haven't dug into what's going on here, not sure how important it
would be considered. It also occurs with clang though, for what that's
worth.)
