    groff_char(7): Protect page from distributors.
    
    I understand a distributor's choice to insulate themselves from the
    cries of the anguished by making man pages pretend that Unicode never
    happened (see our PROBLEMS file), but that choice must not interfere
    with this page's effort to tell the truth.
