I'd settle for source-available. My normal Linux system is a
PowerPC (Mac G3), and Adobe hasn't seen fit to make a PPC
Linux version of Acrobat Reader. (Nothing like a non-Intel
CPU to guarantee a filesystem containing only free software. :-)
The other thing that gv doesn't do is recognize hyperlinks in
PDF files. This is ironic, since e-open's newsletter comes out
as a PDF and the only way to use all its features is to use
non-free software to read it....
However, I was recently given a somewhat resource-limited 486
system. I'm building it up into a Linux-based writing work-
station, groff-based of course. (Which reminds me -- will older
versions of egcs compile the latest versions of groff?)

Well, I think we're all here because we want to be. Anyone
who prefers TeX or Lout would likely be on those lists instead
of this one, no?
