According to the groff website at groff.ffii.org, the commands necessary
are:
CVS_RSH=ssh; export CVS_RSH
cvs -d:ext:address@hidden/cvsroot/groff -z5 co groff
Last time I checked, it was a simple "./configure && make && sudo make
install" from there.
