I hope not! A signal to noise ratio of 1 means noise amplitude equal to
signal amplitude, (i.e. each at 50%). The ideal is signal --> 100%;
noise --> 0%, so signal / noise --> infinity.
We're normally close to that ideal, but I guess this thread is becoming
prejudicial to that.
