I get slightly different results.
If I use the url:-
http://chuzzlewit.co.uk/eric.pdf#eric2
In a browser. The pdf opens at the named destination eric2. It works both
with rekonq (kde browser) which passes the url to okular, and firefox
configured to use embedded adobe reader. I know there are other
readers/browsers which do not support this, but that's part of choosing
the right browser for an individual.
