I suspect this mail may have crossed a post of mine about defect patterns
in the real-world man-page corpus. I thought when I wrote it that would
be of *particular* interest to you.

Summary: the experiment you want done has in fact been running for
ten years as a side effect of my work on doclifter. I believe
on evidence from the field that we have reached the point where only
sterner and more prescriptive measures will advance the game.
