True, although if one runs configure on an 80-column display, it's a
little more visible because it's the only output line to wrap.

Thanks for the clarification. Does the "preconv might not work
properly" part of it play some role in this? The exact string
"uchardet library not found" only appears once in the file (the
wording is slightly different in the longer warning), so it seems a
pretty solid signpost on its own.
