That sounds (and looks) cool!
However, looking at the original of the book you shared, it seems it
includes the correct (opening/closing) quotation marks. My post was
mostly concerned with how to automatically substitute those in when
importing from sources which only use the "universal" ones (i.e. ").
As far as the importing itself is concerned, I have mostly relied
on lynx's -dump feature so far. It requires me to add the formatting
back in manually, but it seemed easier than writing (or adapting) an
HTML parser for this task. If you have anything better, I would be
quite happy to try it.
